What's in the guide?

The guide is a step-by-step DIY (Do it Yourself) road map made up of short articles about life insurance. Some would say that life insurance policies are as understandable as common Mandarin, or ancient Gallic, so we try to break it down in financial terms that are comprehensible.

Using this guide can give financial advisors a toolbox to evaluate how much their client’s life insurance policy is worth. 

The guide will walk you through the process- starting with the necessary documents needed, and continues with an explanation of the structure of a typical policy (including everyone’s favorite- the hidden costs), and how to figure out what the projected cash flows are (and yes it’s easier than what you would expect).

You will also read about life expectancies and taxation issues (as only two things are certain in life- death and taxes).
